Good morning. Please find links below pertaining to recent Department of Homeland Security (DHS) /Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) program changes. Following each link is a brief summary of the corresponding item. These are not requests for comments-just disseminating the information for your review and reference.
- Notice of Adjustment of Disaster Grant Amounts: FEMA gives notice that $125,500 is the threshold for any Small Project subgrant made to state, tribal, and local governments or to the owner or operator of an eligible private nonprofit facility under section 422 of the Stafford Act for all major disasters or emergencies declared on or after October 1, 2017.
- Notice of Maximum Amount of Assistance Under the Individuals and Households Program: FEMA gives notice that the maximum amount of IHP financial assistance provided to an individual or household under section 408 of the Stafford Act with respect to any single emergency or major disaster is $34,000. The increase in award amount as stated above is for any single emergency or major disaster declared on or after October 1, 2016.
- Notice of Adjustment of Countywide Per Capita Impact Indicator: FEMA gives notice of an increase in the countywide per capita impact indicator to $3.68 for all disasters declared on or after October 1, 2017.
- Notice of Adjustment of Statewide Per Capita Impact Indicator: FEMA gives notice that the statewide per capita impact indicator will be increased to $1.46 for all disasters declared on or after October 1, 2017.
